Evaluation

Evaluation        How helpful was your analysis research on your chosen theme? The textual analysis I completed on the movie ' Death Note' was very helpful because the research I completed allowed me to effectively understand the different angles & shots in the filming and therefore this has helped me in how  I will complete my own movie. In the beginning, it showed an establishing shot of the school, somewhere in Seattle due to the building shown and this has allowed me to research the definition of 'establishing shot', and the one shown from Death Note, has given me a clear understanding how to complete one and therefore, this will allow me to show the audience, where somewhere and sometimes the rest of the movie might take place.  The textual analysis allowed me to build upon the different ideas of the way to build up sound, the different type of sounds; Death Note - the sound was non diegetic, meaning the sound from the movie wasn't actually creat

The audience range for my poster is aimed at 16+ because it isn't very enjoyable for children or have that 'fun, comedian, childish act'. However it does enclude a little bit of comedy, just to give it that extra kick, but it does follow the assisgnment brief; short movie with someone going  from A to B

Textual Analysis

"> Textural Analysis – Death Note: https://youtu.be/zS9UW2xjdqE Establishing shot: It is generally a long or extreme-long shot at the beginning of a scene indicating where, and sometimes when, the remainder of the scene takes place. Sound – Non – Diegetic . Establishing shot: A city (Seattle) cuts to a stereotypical high school. Close up shots, very conventional shots, mid shots. – Extreme close ups; focus on a production or something which is related to the movie for a certain purpose. In this case the ‘Detention Sign’.  After pull in, the extreme close up pulls out from an apple to the detention room surrounding the character. Focus on apple, after a few shots the apple is eaten. Build up tension Introduction title very gothic. Post Production. High angel shots; looking down to show their perspectives of what they want the audience to see. Angels represent a key feature, example; to show someone’s power/action compared to another

Suddenly, flashback; 'opens draw and finds a watch, turns the handle on the watch forward and presses the button on top.' The man realises how he got here and although, he feels so puzzled and discombobulated, he starts searching for the watch to return home. He runs through the school hallway, the students amongst the school look startled as if he's dressed from the 19th century.
