How useful was your research into publishing, and real digitally published products? Did this help you with written style, layout, content , mode of address? Unit 14/5 Task 3c - Two adapations of one article. (2)

I have chosen the London Best Foods article to create two different adaptions from it's original purpose/format. The original is aimed at like teenagers, and the way it's written is to be humorous, so my next two adaptions will fit other age groups, so I will aim one at Elderly people & make it more easy and short for them to read, and then the second will be to fit Children from around age 3+ and I will make it less context, more pictures with colours, and make the writing more simplistic, and short to engage that specific audience group. 2nd Adaptation; London Best Foods; If you're looking for some of the best London foods to try, than you're at the right place!!! I have chosen the London Best Foods article to create two different adaptions from it's original purpose/format. Unit 14/5 Task 3b - Step by step photoshop (digital publishing)

In all of these images, it shows step by step how I created my first digital publishing product and all the techniques I used with in Photoshop to create it. This varies from the title font, effects on titles and images so things such as strokes, and then resizing images using transition bar. I also show how I make the title fonts, and the sizes, curve the text, and effects, change the font size/type face, and how I added gradient; gradient same going for the background too. I show step by step the tools used as well, such as the gradient bucket, magic wand tool, eraser, title, crop tool, lasso tools, and the ruler tool, so I can create a double spread page and place a ruler line in the middle, to ensure I have both correct amount sizes of information and images on both the right & left side.

Desk top publish two complete digital publishing products, including your original copy / text, images, graphics and interactive material (video / audio / rollovers / hyperlinks).   You will use Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and you will publish your piece on your blog.   You need to include the following: Stylistic conventions such as headlines, banners, captions etc. Appropriate mode of address which varies according to the content, brief and target audience Correct use of English to consider accuracy, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, creativity, readability. .Research your articles.   Use a range of relevant sources, both primary and secondary, and keep a record of these sources.   These might be interviews, your own notes, results of discussions, genre / narrative conventions from other articles etc. Draft and write your two articles by hand and / or on Word.   Keep evidence of drafting and corrections with several different versions of the pieces. For my magazines research, I will be using primary and secondary methods of research; firstly, I have researched secondary research on the internet. However, for my primary research I will possibly create questionnaires, and have formal interviews with students in my class to review the best research about some places for tourists to visit, and I will have two questionnaires, and separates questions for Food places, so I can get research for both attractions and foods.
