Unit 2 - My Three Ideas.

Initial Idea - Gaming: - For my magazine I will be creating it based off the gaming genre. This is because I'm very intrigued by gaming and find that certain magazines can be very helpful to the gaming community; whether it's ranged from a target audience of 12 to 20+. If the magazine is beneficial and follows my criteria, than I will find it as successful. - The purpose I want to create this gaming magazine to build on the interactivity of the different gaming communities; I will base my magazine mainly on the new, popular game called ' Fortnite', this is because since it's very new I want to create bigger connectivity and interactivity with more Fortnite based gamers. This magazine will help them become better in Fortnite by using tips & tricks, tell them new updates features and Fortnite facts (other stuff will be included too but after more update within the actual game), since these are very demanded as well needed for the new players. - However,

Today I completed the storyboard fully. Next lesson we need to ensure we all have the pre production on our blogger then we will start filming on 31st. Half my group wasn't here today. I did the storyboard. Targets to get it completed by 31st Adam completed the poster and the call sheet. Mahir did the script. Time management has been odd. I've done the storyboard perfectly in time, others haven't due to missing days.

In detail you are to compare, identify and analyse at least three graphic styles. Annotate & analysis three specific examples of graphics from different genres (choose from list). Analysis of the key features of the style e.g. composition, colour, typefaces and post your findings to a blog in a suitable format. --- Anime + Sci-fi I have chosen to compare the style of anime with the genre of science fiction because anime has a lot of science fiction films and stories. Anime is a style which the Japanese culture have created animations of various stories. In anime there's categories which follow science-fiction and a lot of anime contain science fictions aspects. For example, in anime they have created episodes where time travel exists or weird alien things, such as an

Task 1 Products of a magazine

Two products magazine This magazine is about game called 'Mine-craft' and it's created to talk about news about the game, new building inventions audiences can try, new updates to the game etc. The Mine-craft World  magazines target audience is aimed at of young viewers from 7 - 11 year old, which are apart of the viral game which is played by millions on pc, mobile device and consoles. This magazine is aimed at this target audience because this game is a childish game which was made for this specific age group, since it allows children to express their imagination through mining blocks and building structures. It also considers fighting weird creatures but this isn't too heavy since it's not that violent like other games. This magazine from the cover looks like it offers 'newest features and what's coming soon' into the actual game. The purpose of this magazine is to entertain Mine-craft lovers and also educate them on new tips they can us

Unit 2 - Digital publishing product

Image
Digital publishing product   Digital publishing is the announcement of different digital sectors; magazines, e-books and digital catalogues, on the online internet rather than paper based. However, this can be used to distribute books or newspapers over the online community; a method to read online electronically.                   An e-magazine is an online magazine (Electronic magazine), this is where you can publish a magazine on the internet for everyone to access. This is very effective as over billions of people use the internet and a lot use it for the interactivity of media posts; e-magazines, newspapers etc.   Although, digital publishing talks about e books and catalogues and magazines, I will be focusing on the publication of e-magazines as my chosen ‘product. I’ve chosen e-magazines as I feel most comfortable with addressing it, as this is a very popular publication and I’ve used it before, whereas e-books and digital catalogues I’ve never really approached.

Task 1A GENRE & STYLES

Task 1a. Research each style and genre, provide an example and annotate it with a definition. Styles - Modernism - Modern art (Modernism) is to be known as a 'logical movement', which involves cultural historical factors creating a trend behind it. It was developed and came about during the late centuries between the 19th and early 20th century. The style of art is based off traditions of different cultures from the past. This style of art is represented through graphic design through it's drawing which are very bright colourful and odd, disproportionate images. - International style - This style is based off Modern architecture and has a strong correlation to Modernism. This architectural style was developed during the 1920s and 1930s. The creators of this art style where presented in the Museum of Modern Art by Henry-Russell Hitchcock and Philip Johnson. However, this style of art  - Post-modernism - This movement was developed in the late mid 20th centur
